No.
Only specific model iPhones for each different type of gevey and select baseband version.
It doesn't work with anything on any firmware version.

Sim interposers are available for iPhone4 for basebands 2.10.xx, 3.10.xx and 4.10.xx
For iPhone 4S, sim interposers will unlock 5.0, 5.0.1 and 5.1 firmware
For iPhone 4S, sim interposers will unlock 5.0, 5.0.1 and 5.1 firmware
