Hello

does anyone else experience this? After i have put the computer to sleep by closing the lid, and re-opening the lid to wake it up, the touchpad does not respond immediately. I usually have to wait 3-10 seconds for it to work. Not a big deal really but i was just wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same thing / if there is a fix to this

I have a macbook air from 2011

Thank you.

Same here

Hi,

I have the same issue too. I usually have to use a key rather than a click to wake it up. I found it didnt do it so bad when there wasnt a password lock on wakeup.

Dont know, I am used to it now cant really remember.

Also, sometimes it doesnt wake up at all and I have to shut the lid and reopen a couple times to get it to wake up - saying that I need an extra nudge now and again to wake me up too... ;)

hey,

with 10.8 this issue seems to be finally solved.
my MBA (mid '11, i5, 256gb) wakes up instantly and everything reacts without any delay.
the smc 1.6 update isn't installed so far.
