Using an iPhone, there really is a change to the sensitivity levels of pinch zoom in 5.1. The weird thing is, I can only replicate it in Safari and Photos, other apps have no problem at all.
The problem?
There is a subtle, but very noticeable difference in the sensitivity, in 5.1 it is as if the iPhone only focuses on quite hard presses, rather than light touches... a change that apparently has iPad users in mind...
Just try it yourself, if you pinch zoom with a very light touch and slow movement on the screen it takes a while to zoom and is very imprecise, I had got very used to the way iOS would zoom in, I'd sometimes find myself trying to zoom in and expect it to be quite far in, but it'd barely move at all... very annoying.
iOS 5.0.1 seems to react to even the light of touches, just the way it always has
Now I'm back on 5.0.1 I can instantly see the difference, for me it is light and day in difference with regards to sensitivity of the touch screen
