I have 1st Gen SSD, will upgrading be worth it?

I currently have a OCZ AGILITY SERIES SATA II 2.5" 128GB Hard drive installed in my Mid 2009 MBP.

It already has maxed out 8GB of ram. I was wondering if it was worth upgrading to current / fastest generation SSD hard drive from my first generation SSD HD?

I would be looking at upgrading to the fastest OCZ 128GB / 256GB they currently offer or something simliar.

I am just venturing a guess here but current SSDs are SATA III your MBP is SATA II so you probably wouldn't really get any gains from changing. Again this is of my basic understanding of it.

yep i did some research and my MBP is only Sata 2 and my HD is already Sata2. so i really wont see any gains with a faster / more current SSD.
