Best way to unplug Magsafe?

Hi guys,

I started to notice that my magsafe port has scratches and black strokes from pulling the magsafe in and out. When i saw the Macbook of a classmate it had less scratches than mine. What is the best way to unplug your Magsafe? Or else how do you do it and do you have any scratches or strokes on and around the port?

Apple Portables: How to disconnect the MagSafe power adapter
The same concept holds true for the newer style connector, as well.

Actually, unplugging ANY plug by gripping the plug itself, and not the wire, puts less stress on the wire/plug connection point, which is the weakest point.
