Hi, i'm wondering whether there is a way to control my iPhone 4s which would be on my portable docking station, from my macbook air.

i use filebrowser on my iPhone to access all my music stored on my external hard drive which is plugged into my wifi router.
so, the music isn't stored on my mac/iphone.

id like the option when on my mac to be able to play the music through the iPhone? if i open iTunes on my mac and play the music - it access the wifi router & plays it through my mac speakers..as it should.

by the way, i don't have a jailbroken iPhone...so any ideas?

cheers

this is mainly for lazy reasons...if i'm sat down on the couch, or lying on the bed... id like not not to have to get up to my iPhone to play a different album :)
