mbp went to sleep suddenly

while watching a youtube video my mbp suddenly went to sleep. it went to sleep and brought me to the login window, i could still hear the noise coming from the video.

in terms of settings, i have everything on never sleep. this is my first time experiecing this.

would this be a symptom that my hdd is dying?

Yes. It should tell what happened before going to sleep and what happened after going to sleep.
It might not show you why it went to sleep, but take a look anyways.
And if it does not happen regularly I wouldn't sweat anymore thoughts about it. An OS is made by humans, thus it is error prone, and sometimes such things just happen.
