Is anyone up for a group buy for the Bowers & Wilkins Zeppelin Air?

It's $600 on the Apple Store and Best Buy (http://store.apple.com/us/product/H4029VC/A/Bowers-and-Wilkins-Zeppelin-Air?fnode=MTY1NDA5Mg).

If we do a group buy, the product can cost around $150 - $250. That is, if 10-20 people are willing to buy this product, B&W can sell them in bulk to us at this price.

Would anyone be interested to pitch in if the price was in the $150-$200 range?
 
If you can provide the official contact information of the BW employee that is getting you the special rate -- and you can get it to $200 of less, I am in.
 
Sounds great if you can legitimately get it for under $200. But I have some serious doubts. :confused:
 
I would be willing to do this. However the cynic in me is telling me that it's too good to be true. You've only have 4 total posts, and 2 are regarding this. PM me with more details if it is in fact legit.
 
Thanks for the responses. Currently I'm working with a startup that manages group buys, and this price could indeed be possible with B/W, if enough people are interested. The more people, the better. More details will come.
 
wait, can i buy 10 myself for just $250 and then sell them again for just $350 on ebay. easy to make $1000 these days.

I'd be interested at $150 and I'm pretty sure I could get a couple of other people interested at that price; however, I have my doubts about this too. At that price I'd like to buy dozens and sell them at a hefty profit. Something doesn't add up.
 
I am a little confused about this myself. All it takes is purchasing 10 units in order to buy them for less than 50% MSRP? I get that companies do deals on bulk buys, but I would hardly consider 10 units bulk, in the grand scheme of things.

So, some dude at a startup has lead you to believe the impossible.

10 units will not get you this price. Nor will 100 units. Sorry.

The Apple store doesn't get them for 150-250. More likely 350-400. If B&W could sell them profitably at 150, why on earth would they let Apple earn 450 in pure profit on each unit?
 
yeah I be in at $150 or so but a Newbie comes on here claiming they can save about 75% of retail price color me skeptical. we are going to need real contact info from B&H before I part with cash. Honestly if it's legit I would buy at least two keep one sell one on Ebay. should get me a free Zeppelin np. B&W fallows me back on twitter I bet they would question this as well.

For sure I want a direct contact with somebody from B&W and know that the money is collected buy them as well as shipped by them. (not that I don't trust the TS)
