Hi guys,
As almost everyone here I would like to have genuine cds of the MacOs in my powermac, although the prices are very high on ebay (about 80eur for tiger ,100eur + for leopard) and I've read on a post here on macrumors that apple sell the mac os cds.
Well decided to give them a call.
They asked me 17eur+VAT for each Mac Os =) not bad eh?
BUT you must have a serial number of a non "obsolete" mac that supports the operative systems. For example a 2007 macbook (maybe some newer powerpcs work too).
I think I would share this, so everyone here can stop paying stupid prices for dated software and burn that money on hardware upgrades
Please confirm if it is the same way on your country, and post here.
If it +- the same for some countries I will post on the FAQ.
