1024X768 is how many PPI on a 4" screen?

Assuming Apple squeezes the old iPad resolution into a 4" screen and 3:2 iPhone form factor, what kind of PPI will this give us? Can somebody do the math?
 
Thanks! So that is still borderline retina display. So will the older iPad apps just scale down and work on a 4" screen with the same 1024X768 resolution? Or will it mess up the UI elements like button/icons making them too big or too small and unusable? Can somebody that knows how iOS apps scale up and down between different resolutions comment?
