Hi
I have a 2011 15" Macbook Pro. Lately (like maybe the last month or so) I have noticed that there is an incredibly annoying high pitched tinny rattling/clicking noise that comes from what seems to be on the right below the trackpad. It doesn't just happen when I am resting my hand on it- if I am using the computer on my lap, even the very slight movement from my breathing is enough to make it rattle. When I am actually using the trackpad or even the keyboard, it's much worse. It's not that loud- but I think now that I have noticed it it's driving me crazy...and I would take it in to a genius but I have a feeling it would be unhearable in there.
I tried to upload the audio files but it wasn't working, so I put them on youtube. The first photo of my cat corresponds with me resting my hand on the computer and the resulting noise, the second photo is with me not touching the computer.
