... Lucky Labs Teksure carbon fiber back. They have been on since it was new in October. I like the bare glass front and back a million times better. Looks and feels soooo much better. No more smudgy display. We'll see how the bare display holds up. I'm sure it will be better than the screen protector. It had a few marks on it and it's not as tough as the glass. I'll take my chances.
 
The glass itself should hold pretty well but it's the coating that usually gets scratched fairly easily. I been there.

I have the sgp carbon fibre stick on backing but have not entertained a screen shield as I've never felt the need and i don't like the feel or the orange peel effect some give.
 
I have never placed a screen protector on any iPhone I have ever owned. I think it's more about how careful you are with your phone to prevent it from having scratches on the screen and such. That usually plays a big part in how long your phone remains in tip-top condition.
