Hello Everyone -
A few months ago I upgraded to Lion. Tonight I woke my MBP from sleep to get on the internet. Safari told me I was not connected to the internet. I turned AirPort off and back on, no success. (I had full signal and my other Wi-FI devices were working.) I hit restart and I got a Kernal Panic Error... saying I need to restart my computer. I have restarted several times, get the apple logo and the loading circle and then KP! I have reset the SMC and Zapped the pram by Option-R-P. I tried holding Cmd R to boot in to recovery, no go. I restarted and held option trying to boot in the recovery mode there and still panic. I would prefer highly not to reformat my HD, I have a lot of files and do not want to loose them.

Taking to an apple store is not a choice because I do not want to pay.

Thanks.
