Hi

I am new here, have only just joined but often find myself here when searching for answers.

Last November i made the long overdue move from windows to a Macbook pro. I Think its great, Just one thing.....

How do i go about connecting it to an external Screen/tv ?

I feel really stupid sinc eive searched the web for hours but cant quite figure it out?

It depends on what connection types your external screen/tv supports. In most cases HDMI will be an option. To connect my Macbook Air to my monitor via HDMI I have a mini display port to HDMI adaptor and a cheap HDMI cable. Plug it all in and you're ready to go.
 
You will probably need an adapter. FInd out the port your monitor uses, then get a mini display port to (your port) adapter.
