I got this crash where the screen went black and then the home button wouldn't respond. Is there any chance I exited and removed from multitask bar too quickly so the save only partially wrote. Is there any way to check for that, or is it highly unlikely? Using 5.1 now 5.1.1 had to turn off to recover iphone.

Maybe a memory problem funny but didn't run into it on 4.2.
Sorry description is so vague.. but that's all I got. Also got Fences Error..

My inclination is that it might have something to do with memory management. but it seems to only happen every now and then..

thanks
Ian

Does it look like:
Code:
wait fences: failed to receive reply

If not, then ignore my post. :)

If yes, then it means some of your animation blocks are clashing. But I have never seen a non-jailbreak app bricking the phone.

it might be rabbit it might be..

Actually I am displaying an Alert and a webView so it might be that..

So do I delay the Alert ??? or is it ok to ignore the Fences thing..

thanks.
Ian

Ignore the fences thing. Nobody outside Apple knows what it means. I think it only happens in the debugger.

If you have a crash then focus on that.
