Same here. There's still no phone that remotely looks as sexy as the iPhone 4/4S. The Lumia 800/900 is up there, but not quite.I was impressed when i first saw the iphone 4. Almost two years later, it still looks amazing. If the next iphone still looked like this one with a larger screen, I'd be fine with it.
Although the 4 is beautiful, it's not very practical. I think the overall best design was the original.
Anyone care to elaborate what's the difference in design between the iPhone 3G and 3GS, resp. 4 and 4S?![]()

The original was also impractical as phone signal doesn't pass through aluminium very well. Was a classic example of form before function.

Hence the plastic bottom. I never had signal problems with my OG iPhone. Ur never gonna get a 100% perfect phone. The 1st iPhone was awesome to hold, had a perfect weight balance, and a touch interface that was years and years ahead of its time... And it was built like a tank!!
OP is not asking about function. This was asked strictly for design. If both the first iPhone came out at the same time of the 4/4s and were both had similar specs, alot of people would pick the OG iPhone based on curves, that shiny chrome bezel, and a back that doesn't shatter from a 3ft drop. Only thing that would make it better on the back would be adding a glowing Apple logo like their MacBooks. People seem to be biased for what phone they currently use and the OG iPhone sold the least amount being it was expensive at the time. Less people experienced it while many more have with its successors. The original was also impractical as phone signal doesn't pass through aluminium very well.
