Memory upgrade and installation advice

I am thinking about upgrading my MBP 15" mid 2010 from 4gb to 6 or 8gb. I have never done this before so my question is:
How difficult is it to take out and install new memory?
Where would I get it from and what am I looking for when I buy it, what is it called?
Do I need to buy specific tools for the job?
Is there somewhere that shows you how to go about installing new memory?
Is it expensive and is it easy enough for a Newby to do?
Any help is appreciated, Thanks.

Very simple, just remove the screws on the bottom case and the RAM is in the center of the machine. Pull out the little tabs and the sticks will pop up into a ~45 degree angle and you can slide them out. To install, insert them at an angle then press gently until the tabs secure the stick.

Newegg.com - 204 PIN DDR3 should work. Just look under "laptop memory"

Not too expensive and it's easy enough for a newbie to do.
 
Ok so I have checked and this is the current memory set up in my MBP:
4 GB of 1066 MHz DDR3 SDRAM (PC3-8500) installed in pairs (two 2 GB modules)
When looking to purchase 8gb memory does it need to be 1066MHz and PC3-8500 DDR3 or can it be a higher than 1066MHz.
Could someone give me a good selection to choose from as I am not to sure what to buy. I will be purchasing from the following website as I live in Ireland:

I know it's a big ask but I would be really greatful if someone could recommend the best choice for my mid 2010 MBP 15" i7 duo laptop.
One question will the increase of memory speed up my laptop of so what else will it add to my MBP.
