My 15" 2009 MBP is only showing one graphics card.

I just got in the mail today. Why doesn't it show the 9600M?

Because you probably have the 15" MBP from 2009 which only came with the 9400M.

I though all 15" MBPs came with dedicated cards?

That one model I linked to was the one model that didn't come with a dedicated GPU, it was the base 15" MBP at that time. The 2008 and 2010 and 2011 15" MBPs all had dedicated GPUs (and the IGPs of course).

No wonder it was so cheap!

The base model from 2009 only came with an integrated graphics processor. It's also the reason the AC adapter is only a 60W model and the computer has only one fan.
