The title pretty much sums it up. I am getting a 2012 MBP 15" and I was wondering how can I get Office onto it without getting an external drive. It is a cd form of office.

download it from the app store, or get an external drive, install office, and bring the drive back to the retailer!
Can't you turn the trial into a full version by buying?

No I mean I have the CD already, I used on of its downloads on my macbook pro 13" 2011, and I want to install it when the new one comes out, but they don't have optical drives anymore. I am too bum to drop 30 on an external drive -_-.
1) Buying a brand new ~$1500-$2000 MBP but too "bum" to buy an external drive? lol
2) If you have another computer in the house you can share it's optical drive to your new MBP.
3) You could copy the install CD onto a USB drive using your old MBP and then use that to install on your new MBP.

If you have another computer somewhere you can drag the contents onto a USB stick and install it from there.
What makes it dumb is that apparently you can afford/acquire a brand new 15" MBP (an $1800 machine at a minimum), but can't swing $30 for an external DVD drive.
Even if the MBP is a gift, $30 isn't really a lot of money these days...
What's stupid is there's not even an announced 2012 MBP yet and you're already worrying about it not having a DVD drive as if this has been confirmed.
I went from a 2008 15" MBP to a new 13" MBA (which doesn't have a DVD drive) recently. When I setup the MBA, I just plugged in my time machine backup disk and let the software do its thing. It moved all my old programs and data - including MS Office - to the MBA.
Everything worked perfectly, no reinstallation from disks was required. Final Cut Pro made me enter my serial number again, and Photoshop made me click something to activate. But Office and all my other software just worked without doing anything special.
Wouldn't that also work for you? Or maybe I'm missing something?
