Just got my TBDisplay ! WOW.

As the title says, how do I turn off the MBA display and only use the TBdisplay ?
I want to continue to use the MBA keyboard and trackpad and only see the TBD.

At the moment (using mirroring) the TBD resolution has to match the MBA resolution, so it (TBD) doesn't look very sharp, and the screen is cropped (I guess to match the MBA)

Update :

I found an answer (http://hints.macworld.com/article.php?story=20110901113922148), but the TBD screen still isn't as good as the MBA screen. Maybe it's my eyes, but the MBA screen on 1440x900 at 50cm looks much sharper (clearer) than the TBD on 1920x1080 at 140cm. Yes, I can turn the TBD onto 2560x1440 and it looks real sharp & clear, but it's too small to read comfortably !

If this doesn't work, then it's going back and I'll get a new bigger MBA or the new MBP when they are released.

There's your problem. No monitor will look good in resolutions other than its native one. So if you run the TBD at only 1920 x 1080 of course its not going to look clear.

I guess so - unfortunately. I wanted so much to make the TBD work for me but it wasn't possible.
