Recently i found out my old desktop G4 is still working. So i thought i remove classic and install OSX 10.5. Can anyone give me tips and tricks how to remove classic properly. And when I tried to install 10.5 with the disk and restarted the Mac the panic screen came up. Does anyone know how to deal with that? Thanks.

What exact G4 Mac do you have? Has at least 867 MHz (minimum for Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard)?
And the DVD you use, is it a Retail DVD of Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard or a grey Restore DVD from another Mac? The kernel panic points to a Restore DVD.
