I haven't tried these new Sony headphones but the reviews I've read have been really positive. I get a discount on Sony products so I'm thinking of picking up a pair of these for fun... I'm a bit of a headphone addict.

I have a white iPhone and white iPad and have actually been dying to get myself a pair of white headphones just to complete the look... but damn the black model with the red flat cord really pop... what do any of you think?
White and Grey or Black and Red?

Here's the Sony site for them:

I would get the black ones. Personally, I'm not a fan of white headphones as they draw a lot more attention than the black ones, and so you may become more of a target for thieves... but if you like the white ones then go for it!

I agree.

I have a few pairs of black headphones that's why was thinking about a pair of white ones to be a little different. My go to headphones are the XB700s and a few different earbuds.

But the black and red do look a lot more slick in this style than the white ones.

I vote for not going white, but mainly because they will likely end up looking dirty very quickly. Even if you wipe them down, the soft surfaces likely will not keep their bright vibrant appearance after some months of heavy use. Black (or darker colored) headphones pretty much stay looking new until they start to physically fall apart.

While we are on the Sony headphones subject, I find basically anything by Sony (headphones of course) to be incredibly uncomfortable. If you are given the chance to test drive these for an hour or so before buying I would highly recommend that.

Have you ever tried the XB500 or XB700s? Super comfortable, sounds great too (700s sound better for rock) They have these giant cushions that look like they came off of a big squishy leather couch.

I have not, but your adorable dog sold me. I will have to check them out. If he/she likes them I can't go wrong. :)

I'm not sure why this post was down voted... cause I'm asking for opinions?
