Ah, my arms are killing me.

I guess they haven't considered fatigue that much, and precision might be a thing of the past with this.

But it is a cool toy I guess.

Fatigue wouldn't bother me because my elbow would be resting on my desk with my fore arm over the device. But to me this seems more like a companion to the mouse to have a more interactive experience with supported apps or websites. ANd if that it the case your arms won't be up for long periods of time.

Motion control is like 3D. It looks really cool and fun in the store, then you get it home and wonder why you spent all that money on it.

True that.

It going to be very inaccurate for 1st person shooter as well.

I feel the same way about the Kinect we bought for the xbox.

It works really well and the kids liked using it.

Despite that, we haven't used it in many months.

I don't think it will necessarily be inaccurate after having gotten the hang of it, on the other hand I don't believe it will be very comfortable playing for longer periods of time. Either your elbows or your shoulders will absolutely kill you.

Personally, I think this will be awesome for just about any kind of artist. For the average user, not so much. I'll wait until they show me how this will facilitate my time in front of the computer. But it's an absolutely amazing step forward!

I think this sort of thing is the future. It started with the Theremin, and not until now has the world caught up to it. Well, maybe not even yet, but we will. Soon.

Its surely nice tech, but I don't think will become much more than a novelty gimmick. Our arms are not made to be used in that way and most importantly, there is no tactile feedback. Until we have direct brain interface to the computer, touch based devices like keyboard, mouse and touchscreen are much more efficient. I'd rather see tactile feedback touch screens (that can change their surface texture).

...are we really so sedentary?
i see everybody really worried for their arms..
but not for staying like a couch potato on the chairs..
so lets move a bit:D

I'm pretty sure as time goes on, those who will possess this product will use it on a daily basis. also its pretty upsetting to see that such a product will be launching late this year or early next :(
