I have used Corsair Force Series in Lenovo T Series ThinkPads at work. Works fine for Windows and Linux on those laptops.

If you have a real desire to try this make or it is is the best value for you then pick one up from a place with a good returns policy. Chances are you will not have any issues with the majority of modern drives but if you do then return and go with another brand.

Thank you I think I will go with Intel 320 Series SSD to be safe.

You might think about buying a SATA III drive. While it won't negotiate at 6gb, it will allow for some futureproofing should you decide to get a newer machine.

I have an 80GB Intel 320 Series and it works very well. I was actually thinking about the Force 3, but I'm glad I got this. Still as fast as it was on day 1, and I haven't had any issues with it. Intel drives are very reliable.

Yeah but I can't afford SATA III SSD so I just got a new Intel 320 Series 160GB today and installed it…not much a performance to me.

That's good to know :)
