I'm looking to upgrade the RAM in my MBP 13" i7 2.8 to 16GB.
I saw a youtube video HERE where the guys states @25 sec(ish) that the timings need to be 9-9-9-24.
The RAM I'd like to use is Corsair Vengance SO-DIMM. The 8GB (2x4GB) kit has CAS of 9-9-9-24 LINK and I have seen a review stating it works OK in an MBP.
The 8GB sticks of the same are 10-10-10-27, so if I want 16Gb I would use 2 of these. LINK
My question is this: Does the Latency actually mean the RAM won't work at all? Or not as fast as it might? Or be unstable?
Many thanks.
