The Two Guys from Andromeda, creators behind the good old Sierra's Space Quest are back making a new adventure game, and more on topic have just released a prototype of their new HTML5 game engine that works on the iPad.
I suggest everyone give it a go, it's pretty neat considering it's a very early concept:
