So, I've searched countless forums, all with no success. My "other" tab of my iPhone says 8 gb out of the 16 (13 rather) that I have. I NEED to fix this. I do not want to restore at all. Help!

Probably one or more of the apps on your iPhone is using this 'other' storage to store its files/data.

Try this:
  1. Open the Settings app.
  2. Tap General, Usage, and wait for the Storage list to display.
  3. Identify any apps that are using a large amount of space.
You can then open the app(s) and trash any unwanted data, drawings, music, video, whatever...

Nope, highest is music at 2 gigabytes, then the next highest is a measly 133 mb.
