Do the cases for last-gen (Mid 2011) fit 2012 model? If so, any good recommendations on that?

I would assume so since they look like they are the same size and weight. I'm just gonna go with no case, though. Not trying to add weight to an ultra-portable.
 
A good alternative to a case without adding weight is a skin. I plan on buying an iCarbons skin to protect my MBA from scratches. It won't necessarily protect my MBA if I drop it though... but honestly, who drops their laptop?
