I'm trying to format my mac back to it's factory settings but it's not working.
I have a macbook pro, running Mac OSX 10.6.3. I have the original discs that come with the macbook. I've tried about four or five different times now to format. I've used various different ways to boot from disc, but nothing seems to work.
It goes through the entire install process and then gets me to the Success screen, which says that the mac has to restart in order to install new changes.
However, when it restarts, it's pretty much reverted back to the state it was prior to me installing the disc.
This is super frustrating and I'm getting fed up, is there any solution to this?
