When I try to log I to my account on the Apple Store it comes up saying 'we're sorry - we could not process your request'

Anybody else getting this message?
 
I checked an hour or so ago and it worked, but just checked after seeing your comment and get the same "sorry..." message you do. Must be doing some maintenance or something.
 
Yeah, same. AND i've gotten my money back from Apple from my purchase of the new Retina display (for some reason), could they have problems with their systems or am i getting a computer for free?

I think that Apple normally hold the money in your account first, so it is taken from the available balance, and then actually take it once the product is delivered. But banks normally after about 5 days, assume that the sale is no longer going to take place so put the money back into your available balance.
I had the same thing happen when I ordered my iMac, but they eventually took the payment once the iMac was delivered.
