Im in a position right now where i have both a unlocked UK Galaxy S3, and iPhone 4S, both are around 2 weeks ago,

I will pretty much deff get the iPhone 5 as i have my mac and look forward to a new phone as long as its not just a rehash of the 4S.

So my question is, which would be best to keep and which to sell now and before the iPhone launch?

Im tempted to put the money now towards an iPad, the one thing that makes me stick with apple is the amount of money i have spent on apps and games already, I'm going to use it on pay as you go when i move to USA in two weeks, but i do love the bigger screen of the S3, but selling and going forward wise which would be the best option to take?

So you think the best way would be to sell the 4S now, keep the S3 and sell that before or just after the launch and that way i will make the most out of them both?

I guess mainly games i could sell the 4S and just use a new iPad 3 to play to keep within the app store until the new iPhone.

Android phones lose their value quickly, but the iPhone is more likely to lose value because of the new iPhone than Android is, so I think that's the best way.

Keep whatever phone is better. Also consider if your S3 is even compatible with USA LTE networks. The iphone 5 might be a minor update for all we know, so the 4s might be very good for awhile. Android has all the good apps that iphone has.

Also, the S3 will have google navigation and google maps for the long run, while the 4s only has google maps right now and perhaps an inferior navigation software/maps in the fall. Consider how much you depend on google maps/navigation.

I sold my 32G 4S for $500usd 2 weeks ago.. waiting for the S3, then selling the s3 and buying the iPhone. ;)

Here's how I would do it:

Currently the SSGS3 is hot on the market. I would sell that one while the demand is reasonably high. You will get more dollar value despite the depreciation compared to the iPhones.

Your iPhone 4S will ALWAYS sell well, regardless of iP5 or not, simply because you will be selling it without taxes which can save the buyer anywhere from 65 - 100.00. Many people do not mind buying a cell phone that is not the latest and the 4S is recent enough that it still has strong appeal.
