Hi, I was wondering what would be the various tests to do on the new laptop to insure everything works flawlessly?
I must make sure these all work:
thunderbolt ports
HDMI port
USB ports
Audio port
SDXC port
Display is perfect
anything im forgetting?
Problem is I do not have any thunderbolt or HDMI cables or hardware or SDXC cards, what would be the cheapest way to test these? Alli have is Apple USB superdrive and some external disks.. was thinking I could just bring it into a tech computer store and have them test everything...
In other MBP purchases ive learned years after purchase that a componet is not working, like the optical drive or the display out port, I want to make sure this does not happen, also I want a perfect display with no dead pixels or pressure damage or ghosting... and that must be done in the first 14 days, and before i apply any protective skins.
I suppose I could buy a couple of adapters and test the HDMI and thunderbolt ports that way, connect the USB drive, and then find a projector or display to borrow... the SDXC slot im betting ill not test or ever use
