rMBP insurance (UK)

I read another thread and it seemed everyone was US-based so didn't really get any help. Has anyone got their rMBP insured? I need theft/damage insurance as this is the most expensive thing I have ever earned! Unfortunately buying it means I don't have too much money left for that insurance.

Anyone got insurance or any suggestions?
 
When mine arrives in a few weeks, I am going to give these guys a go as I also want cover for my iPad and iPhone:

It is quite expensive for one gadget, but when I add on everything I carry and get the discounts, it seems quite reasonable.....

Don't do it... or at least read some reviews.

My mate insured his ipad through them, his missus dropped it... spent 3 days on the phone with no one answering, 10x emails and no response.

Waste of money if you ask me.

Don't rely on this insurance company!
 
Wow thanks! I was seconds away from using protectmybubble! Home contents insurance only covers me upto £1000 and only in the house which sucks.
 
I hadn't thought about this...but I might be spending next year in London. Will my Apple Care, purchased in the US still be valid if anything goes wrong while there?

Give them a call to get a quote to amend your policy.

Sounds like you're on the ball. I fly between UK & France so need extra cover which my bank provides in addition.

You can never be too careful nowadays and I prefer to have 1 policy as it's much easier to manage.
 
John Lewis Home Insurance

These guys offer a very good policy and my rMBP is covered for theft and accidental damage both in and away from the home.
All in the price:)
