I looked at the forums and the web but could not find a good solution.
I have also read this thread https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/1398495/
but it did not have any recommendations for my particular problem.

For some weeks now I have been using 'preview' to make papers that I
read. For references I have been using Mendeley but Mendely nor preview
lets you organize your annotations so I end up searching all the documents
all over again if I need to find a reference.
After a long search and several read threads I found Papers2 . Its pretty basic but it at least lets me search and manage annotations. Before I import my whole library into it I was wondering if you know any similar applications that can use bibtex syncing with the Mendely library and also lets me find my annotations.

papers lets me mark pdfs and but it only shows annotations for only one pdf. There seems to be no way to see all notes together :/
I have also tried the devon software but it does not jump to the marked sentence in the page (does not stay connected/ referenced)
