Help! I left my phone on TOP of the microwave. My mother use the microwave a couple of times while it was there totaling 5 minutes. When I picked my phone, it was black.

I thought the battery drained. I left it charging overnight but that did nothing.

What happened to the phone? Can it be fixed?

try doing a forced reboot (or whatever u call it, its known as a forced reboot to me!) By holding the home button and the power button until the phone turns on on its own. If not, bring it to the Apple store.

Can you define what "It was black" means? Like it wouldn't turn on or it was charred?

Something to keep in mind. If the microwave is leaking significant amounts of radiation to effect the iPhone then the microwave is very like a health hazard.

EDIT: Making clear the microwave may be defective and dangerous to use.

When the iPhone absorbs enough radiation, it becomes a super computer that rivals Government computers at the Pentagon
