I agree. You can´t exaggerate the importance of screen quality. It´s nothing less than a small revolution in the computer world. Once you´ve experienced it, the old ways seem impossible ...
I think I'm doing it wrong... there is not a 'night and day' difference for me when switching from my rMBP to my 27" IPS display.

I tend to be out and about and use my MBA during the day normally. Every night, without fail, I am genuinely surprised how crisp and beautiful things look on the rMBP. Even just browsing this forum using Safari is like a day and night experience. The only thing that could cause me buyer's remorse is if Apple released an iMac with a similar display, because I feel that a desktop is more useful for me.
So true. This is the reason why I am selling my 2010 iMac. I'll miss it but don't want to use it anymore.
That fact that every other display looks horrible after using the rMBP, isn't a bad thing. It just shows that those 1080P monitors we once thought were the best out there, have now been 1 upped.
Mine's coming Friday (if FedEx is to be believed), and my fear is that my current displays with look like garbage, which will be a problem because my desktop will still be my main computer.
ah well, the price we pay...(literally and figuratively)
Its true. After using the retina screen going back to all other screens look fuzzy and blurry
Unless all you're doing is reading text and running the 5-6 programs that are actually retina friendly, everything on the RMBP is fuzzy and blurry.
