I am trying to debate on which secondary monitor to keep. I currently have a 24" cinema display as my main monitor to my Mac pro. Now for a secondary display I also have a 20" aluminum cinema display and a newer asus 22" LED IPS display and can't decide on which one to go with. The asus is brighter and more vivid, but the IPS coating makes the text looking jagged and blurry. The asus just has a cheaper plastic build to it, where the 20" apple is very high quality.

Apple 20" cinema display
Cons:
LCD panel takes longer to warm up
Only 1680x1050
No HDMI
Slightly more power consumption than LED
Older display so no more warranty

Pros:
Better quality build and nice looking
Text looks sharper
Matches all other apple stuff
20" size actually fits on my small desk better, especially next to the 24" display

Asus 22" LED IPS
Cons:
Blurry jagged text
Short monitor makes it look much smaller then 22"
Poor build quality and cheap looking

Pros:
HDMI input nice to have in case ever need it for something
Bright and vivid colors awesome picture
Matte IPS panel
Full hd 1920x1080
3 year warranty
Still within 30 day return period in case I decide to return it

I like Both displays but can't decide one way or the other. What would you guys choose?

Looks to me like you have kind of answered your own question...
Asus 22" LED IPS

The only potential deal-breaker is the warranty...I'd ditch the Asus personally. Maybe you could be AC for the ACD if it's not too late?

Any reason to keep the asus since it has better resolution? I believe the 20" cinema is 1680x1050.

Well, since you just bought the Asus and are still debating. Whether it's better than an old cinema display you would be replacing, I say take it back. When you upgrade something, it should be a no brainer between the old stuff and new stuff. Return the Asus and use that money to buy something that is much better than the old display you want to replace.
