Here's what I'm trying to do. I have a very old Bose speaker. So ancient in fact that it only has the mail 30 pin connector know auxiliary. What I want to do is get Internet radio from my iPad2 through the speaker. I would assume the easiest way to do this would be with a male to female 30 pin a/v cable. Does such a beast exist? The ones I've come across online talk about iPhone audio compatibility but not iPad2. I realize it won't be able to charge iPad2 I just want the audio.

Any info appreciated.

You'll have better luck searching if you use the right words. It's not an AV cable that you're after. It's a dock connector extension cable (unless I'm misreading your post).

It can't be that ancient if it has a dock connector.
