Hi all,
I had Lion, downloaded ML through app store and went to install at the prompt. My macbook pro (late 2011) restarted and tried to install but now says the disk has errors, verifying the disk has failed. The repair disk option is not possible. I have tried to boot into Recovery HD and use Disk utility but still no success. It tells me to erase the Macintosh HD(I have bootcamp Windows as well).
1. I would like to escape the ML installer and boot back to Lion but i have still failed to do this.
2.I didnt back up anything while i was running on Lion! I therefore can't afford the option of erasing and doing a fresh install, is there a way to backup the Macintosh HD now before continuing with ML install, even though it has errors?
