Hi All,
I just updated my MBP 2012 with ML from Lion and a few issues have occurred which is somewhat a bit irritating.

1. Messages, beta, was working excellent under Lion. But now it wont even start and I get the following message
When checking preferences when above message in on. It says no account setup, at the same time the function is greyed out -same goes with the preferences.
So Messages is simply not working for me at all.
My thought was to go check the Disk Utility and run that, to see whether it gave a resolution.
Well, here comes next issue .
2. Running verify disk ask for a repair disk which then fails and ask for it done
In recovery mode.
Here is the error list I get.
Checking file systemPerforming live verification.
Checking Journaled HFS Plus volume.
Checking extents overflow file.
Checking catalog file.
Incorrect block count for file DH Reloaded 1.1.0.ipa
(It should be 5120 instead of 85467)
Checking multi-linked files.
Incorrect number of file hard links
Checking catalog hierarchy.
Invalid directory item count
(It should be 1014 instead of 1015)
Invalid directory item count
(It should be 41 instead of 39)
Checking extended attributes file.
Checking volume bitmap.
Volume bitmap needs minor repair for orphaned blocks
Checking volume information.
Invalid volume free block count
(It should be 85544568 instead of 85464221)
The volume Macintosh HD was found corrupt and needs to be repaired.
Error: This disk needs to be repaired using the Recovery HD. Restart your computer, holding down the Command key and the R key until you see the Apple logo. When the OS X Utilities window appears, choose Disk Utility.
Okay then I do that and the Recovery says all is fine and honky dory. Rebooting and then back to do the normal Disk Utility for a check and to the story as above. So basically looping, one Disk Utility says No Good and the other says All Good. So which one is correct? The Recovery Disk Utility or the System Disk Utility?
Before installing ML I did run the Disk Utility with all systems good to go, as well as did a backup, but after ML installed there is a problem.
3. Problem is that Mail from time to time keep asking for password on my mail accounts, for then rejecting them as incorrect. Restarting Mail does temporarily fix the problem, but issue is back the following day.
Everything else is working perfect and I do have a bunch of applications from CS6 to the Office Pack
I hope somebody have some clues that I could pursue. Of cause I could do a reinstall, but sitting overseas and with an account in the US is a drag as it takes days to do so. (checked the loading time .)
