I have a virtual machine with xp installed, I need to install drivers from the boot camp files, but when I try to set it up it says it needs windows 7. Does anyone know where I can get the windows support files for a 13 inch Aluminum Late 2008 non pro MacBook?

They are on the Snow Leopard installation disk.

Lion dropped support for XP in boot camp.

But you shouldn't need any of that for a virtual machine. The windows drivers are for boot camp. I'm not sure what the bootcamp drivers would do to a VM because they assume that the windows OS is working with bare metal, but the VM isn't.

With a virtual machine, you need the software from your VM vendor.
VMWare calls them VMWare Tools.
Virtual Box calls them VirtualBox Extension Packs.
I don't know what Parallels or xen would call them.
