iphoto rMBP problem

Hey guys,

I was trying to edit some photos taken from canon 550d in iphoto and it took me quite a bit of time moving the sliders in contrast/saturation etc settings and the iphoto quit itself twice. Is anyone else facing the same. my rMBP is 2.6/512/16
