Airport speed limit?

Hey everyone.

I have two airport expresses.

I use the second to extend the network. The first one gets the full 20mb of our Internet ; yet the second which isn't far away gets 5mb.

Is there a strange option I need to change in the airport express app on the mac to allow full speed? Thanks for any help

If I turn off the second airport an run a speed test from the top of the house - I get the big speed. But if I turn on the second airport and speed test from that (closer to the computer than the main one) then I'll still get the 3-5mb :S

In Airport Utility I have one set to Create, and the other set to Extend. Those are the only real options there :S
