Recs for dual external displays on MBP Retina - Dell U2412 vs ASUS PA248Q vs other?

I would like to hook up two external monitors to a MBP Retina. Looking in the < $350 range/monitor and 1920 x 1200 resolution. Seems like either the Dell U2412 or ASUS PA248Q are my best bets. Can anyone comment on either of these two monitors or others in this price range?

Did you end up getting the Dell U2412 monitor ? I wanted to know how it looked with your macbook.


I tried using my 23" Viewsonic LED monitor using a displayport to HDMI adapter and it looked horrible. But when tried on an old HP monitor, the image was great. I tried calibrating the Viewsonic but nothing seems to help. I have come to the conclusion that I need a good monitor with IPS panel to get a decent image from this Macbook Pro.
