Pictures won't load in Safari!

I cant get pictures to load in safari when I visit pages like Facebook or Google. I also have a problem logging in to certain pages. I tried to wipe the cache, history and rebooting the device (ON/OFF + Home button) but it didn't work. I also have the same problem in chrome.

Any suggestions?
 
You missed one thing in your very long post there. The OP is in the iPad section. Terminal commands, or tips for Vista and XP won't do any good.
