iPhone to UK October 5th?

Are they serious? With their understanding of what is needed in the channel now that they've been through five iPhone launches, Apple can't get it together to fill the UK channel on the real launch date, and so we have to wait?

Think when they say international on Oct 5, it'll be countries like Austria and Belgium. On 21st, the US, UK, Canada, France, Austrailia and Germany should all get it.
 
Was a week late last time round, 7th vs 14th.

Not too fussed as my contract isn't up till the 15th of October anyway, wife is dying though, she has had a HTC Wildfire since August 2010!

For the 4S? I don't think so, pretty sure both UK and US along with a few other countries launched on the 14th.

Pre-orders were on 7th October with availability from 14th. Same in USA and UK.
