Hello.

I bought a used iPad 2 wi-fi today. I want to add my iCloud account, but i see the old owners iCloud is set up for the iPad. How do i add my iCloud and remove his?

What does he have access to? And how do i make sure he can't access all my data?

Hook it up& do a restore as new

The owner should have done this before selling or maybe it was stolen ?

He had no idea how to do it he said. I have the receipt, so i dont assume its stolen. He just didn't know how to. If i restore as factory settings, i can carefully set up my own iCloud service and his wont interfere with my iPad?

Yea, this a really good point. Either the seller was really careless with their info... or it was stolen. Be careful.

And yes, Restore it "as a New iPad"

Shouldn't do anything. Make sure to not restore from a back up. Set up as a new iPad.
