new iphone 5 buy

if you start a new line to get a subsidized iPhone 5.. yes you do.
if you cancel your current contract for your current phone and start a new contract with the iPhone 5.. yes you do.
The question lacks detail, but I would agree with the last poster. There are some fees involved. How much is impossible to answer without more detail from you.
That phone you bought a year ago came with a 2 year contract to continue service with the same phone (not a new one).
sorry...to clarify....i currently have a iphone 4s on at&t...i will have almost 1yr of the 2yr contract over....i want to stay with at&t...but i want the new iphone when it comes out....what type of fee charges will i get? will i get the normal subsidized price or have to pay full price for the new phone?
Call AT&T & find out what date you can upgrade at the full subsidized pricing. They'll give you other options such as paying $250 + the price of the phone and so forth.
