Yes with Yahoo.
Mostly I get mail pushed.
If not I open the mail app on my 4s then mail arrives.
It seems after looking a Internet chatter apples products font get on with yahoo. For example sometimes I'm asked in my MBA to confirm my yahoo e mail password even tho I know it's correct do I just ignore the pop up and dismiss it.
