Does anyone know, or can anyone take a guess at how Apps will be differentiated on the iPad Mini?

Will iPhone apps work
Will iPad apps (HD) work
Will Apple add an iPad Mini section to iTunes and certain apps will be mini specific

For example which Reeder app will be used on it? iPhone, iPad, or will they have to make a new one.
 
Part of me just wants them to be non retina sized ipad apps but the other part of me wants them to be their own apps to create another market for apps.
